CROSSFIT

CrossFit is our Strength and Conditioning Program. It consists of a wide range of multi-joint movements that are often, but not always, performed at high intensity.  Our curriculum focuses on physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains that are: Cardiovascular & Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Agility, Balance, Coordination and Accuracy.

Hands on coaching and incremental load assignment allow us to teach almost anyone to perform the same exercises often used by professional athletes.

  • Constantly Varied:  Routine is the enemy of a well-rounded athlete. Through a broad training program your body can adapt to perform a wide range of physical challenges.

  • Functional Movements:  Compound or functional movements mimic motor recruitment patterns found in everyday life. These movements are mechanically sound and safe for athletes of all skill levels.

  • High Intensity:  Our workouts rarely last longer than 20 minutes. Based on scientific research, high intensity training burns more fat and develops strength and conditioning better than traditional training programs.

MEASURABLE RESULTS

A CrossFit class is referred to as a "WOD" or “Workout of the Day."  A typical class is structured in the following way:

60-Minute Class

Warm Up & Mobility

Skill/Strength
Conditioning

Accessory Work/Cool Down

Each day your Strength & Conditioning "scores" are recorded in WODIFY. This data allows us to track your progress on all fronts and advance you accordingly.  Scoring also creates a friendly, supportive and competitive environment, a major component to why CrossFit is fun and effective.
